New Year Party Dress Ideas

After all the hard work all year round, you deserve a New Year bash. New Year bash means, music, drinks, food and good looks. You need to look the best on the New Year bash as it is a belief that what you are on the first day of New Year, it remains the same for the rest of the year. Thus, you need to dress up at your best and look beautiful, so that you look the same all throughout the upcoming year. So, what should be your New Year party dress?

New Year Party Dress Ideas
1.The colour of 2011 is Honeysuckle - the beautiful blend of pink and red. Wear a short and backless dress. You can team it up with a sweater dress of the same colour to keep you warm and stylish on the way to the party.

2.Wear a silver or gold stilettos to match with the short Honeysuckle dress. If silver and gold seem to be bright colours, that's how it is supposed to be. It's celebration. The more jubilation the better.

3.Wear a nude make-up with glitter eye make-up.

4.Accessories regain their importance in the fashion world in 2011. Thus, chunky belts and scarves should be a part of your dressing. A sleek anklet with a matching bracelet will serve the purpose.

5.This season the short hairstyle is in the trend. Pull up your hair in a bun, leaving few strands gets playing around the neck to show off your dress. The ideal would be to cut your hair short.

6.As for lipstick shades the colours in trend are pink, brown and peach. Gloss is also in trend. Apply the shade which suits your skin tone and apply gloss to make them look supple.

7.Last but not the least wear the right attitude with your New Year party dress.

Evaluated the predictions from last year

2010 is here, and so are TechLahore's predictions for the new year

2010 is here, and so are TechLahore's predictions for the new year

I recently evaluated the predictions from last year. In a nutshell, I was about 80% correct. 2009 has certainly been filled with unique challenges, both at a global and national level. We’re all hopeful the future holds better things, and on that subject, I’ll share with you what I think will go down in 2010. Once again, while I’ve been lucky enough to be fairly accurate over the course of 2008 and 2009, it doesn’t mean the trend will continue in 2010. I won’t try and make safe predictions just so that they come true, but rather focus on things that I beleive all of us are thinking about… even though predicting their course might be fraught with risk.

So here goes:

Political predictions

I don’t see Asif Zardari making it through 2010. I think he will be deposed as President.

Though many political pundits talk about it, I don’t believe there will be mid-term elections this year. Whatever changes occur will be with individual and will not displace the entire post-2008 election scenario.

Gen. Kiyani is scheduled to retire close to the end of the year, but I believe he will receive a rare 1 year extension of service. However it happens, I don’t believe we will see him retiring this year.

The surge in Afghanistan will not work. If not by the end of 2010 then in 2011 the US will have to sit and talk to elements of the Taliban. The commitment of these forces will prove politically costly for President Obama.

Security and the situation in northwest Pakistan

As I had mentioned last year, the Army certainly had an operation up their sleeve. What happened in Swat and South Waziristan was the result of meticulous planning that had occured for months prior to the execution of either campaign. I believe these campaigns will begin to bear fruit in 2010 in the form of a reduction in security incidents in Pakistan. While there will be a definite tapering off in 2010, the nihilists will continue to make their presence felt now and then. Unfortunately this is a process which will take a little bit of time to completely unfold. But 2010 will inshaAllah be more secure than 2009 and quite measurably so.

The military will continue significant presence in Swat, Waziristan and will expand into other tribal agencies, expanding the writ of the government in an area that was always free of federal or provincial law enforcement since 1947. The action being conducted in these areas is certainly against the foreign nihilists who have taken refuge there and those who would seek to support them, but it also marks an expansion of writ into areas where it never existed previously (by design and by a 1947 era agreement which has clearly outlived its relevance).

Pakistan will continue to implement its strategic weapons programs and reap the fruits of investment in tactical weapons development. In addition to the first JF-17 squadron being weaponized and fully operationalized, we will see the arrival of F-16 Block 52 (Yes, there will be no last minute ‘hitches’), additional Saab Eireye AWACS aircraft, significant progress on the FC-20 fighter program, new air-to-air weapons such as the AMRAAM, and air to ground munitions and the Sniper targeting pod. In addition, the missile program will continue at full speed and more details will emerge regarding the 7,000km range Taimur ICBM. Pakistan will, however, not make any official announcements concerning this system. The much delayed Pakistan Navy next generation submarine deal will be finalized – there is a German vs. French situation going on at the moment but this will succesfully be navigated and a firm deal will take shape in 2010.

Technology Predictions

There will be a near-breakout level of success with a Pakistani based mobile software company. At least one company will claim 250K users for its mobile products by the end of 2010. It is very likely that two will.

Netsol will see its fortunes improve in 2010 from a share price perspective. Hovering now at around $1, they can expect to be at least 25% better off by the end of the year.

2010 is going to be a really bad year for Palm in terms of adoption of the Pre. I had predicted in 2008 that the Hail Mary piece of technology demo’d at CES fail for Palm. It has almost happened, but not quite completely yet. Palm will be relegated to a fourth tier player at best and 2010 will mark a signifciant reduction in its brand equity and influence.

The Apple Tablet will be released and it will be a major hit. Even though I don’t like Apple, I will buy it :-) It will be iPhone OS based and will not have the full functionality of a Mac. eReader apps for it will be absolutely killer and very succesful.

Windows Mobile 7 will come out in 2010 but will not be ‘all that’. It will take several updates and major enhancements to improve it. It will not reverse the market share trend away from Microsoft based phones that has taken hold over the last few years. Android will be the biggest gainer on the Smartphone side and will continue to whittle away at the Windows lead. Microsoft will undergo some pain in this area in 2010.

ARM based devices and cheaper laptops will start to chip away at Netbook growth. There will at most 20% growth in the Atom based Netbook segment. A market which went from 0 units in 2007 to clost to 40M units in 2009.

Nokia is not being succesful in its move from basic and feature phones to truly smart phones. Their UI development and OS skills are not in the top 3 at all. I think this will be Nokia’s downfall… as smartphones become less expensive in markets outside the US, fewer people will choose Nokia as it will no longer provide the best experience primarily due to software reasons. From the low end, Samsung and LG feature phones will continue to become better thus providing competition to the traditional Nokia feature phone niche. All in all, 2010 will see other mobile companies grow at the expense of Nokia.

I was wrong on this one last year, and this is almost too easy for 2010, but then again – you never know! The Software Park Tower in Lahore will be completed and will become fully operational in 2010. It is going to be too expensive sq ft cost wise for most companies so move-ins will be slower than expected.

Financial and Economic Predictions

The S&P will show a better than 7% gain in 2010. The Dow and NASDAQ will also come close to 10% gains.

The recession in the US will be over officially – it technically is already – but you’ll hear common people saying it. There will be a net reduction in the unemployment rate in 2010.

The KSE, having recovered more rapidly than expected in 2009, will show more modest gains of in the 10-15% neighbourhood in 2010.

The Pakistani Rs. will continue to trade between 82 and 86 to the USD through the year.

New year and annual fashion predictions

Post image for Welcome to the New Year: Kathryn’s Fashion Predictions

It’s a new year and time for my annual fashion predictions. Now some of my predictions are more wishful thinking (Marc Jacobs at Macy’s) than true predictions (cocktail rings and head scarves). But nonetheless, it’s still fun to speculate on what trends will rule our closets in the new year.

1. Cocktail rings and head scarves will be the must have accessories.
2. The skinny chain belt will replace the wide patent leather belt as the must have belt.
3. Fine cotton knits (more Kenzo than St. Johns), will make a big comeback.
4. Dresses will continue to reign supreme on and off the runway
5. Fashionistas will start to wear sequins during the day
6. Marc Jacobs will do a mass market line with a major mass retailer (perhaps Macy’s? They really need the help)
7. The ‘Sex and the City’ movie will totally change the way women dress. Again. And 99% of the people who try to dress like the characters will look ridiculous.
8. Green will replace gray as the new “it” color.
9. Nordstroms, Top Shop, and Colette will open in New York City.
10.Thrifting will continue to rise as more and more people struggle to look great on a budget.
11. Gap will continue to do well by focusing on what we love best about the store—classic causal wear.
12. Uggs will make a huge comeback and the fashion world will except them as a fact of life.
13. HSN and QVC will become “cool” as more and more designers premiere lines on the homes shopping networks.
14. Women will start to wear boots year around and someone will create a “sandal boot”.
15. Celebrities will clamor to make their own mass market “fashion lines” as the union issues in hollywood cuts into their big paychecks. I see a Jamie Lynn Spears teen maternity line in the works.

Predictions 2011

The New Year is finally upon us, and with it comes rampant speculation as to what it has in store for gamers. Brave New Gamer has compiled an irrational and slightly analytical list of predictions for 2010. It includes game releases, announcements, and a few other surprises that will blow your %$&*ing mind.

With the indubitable success of BioShock 2, 2K Games announces BioShock 3. This game will take place 20 years after the events of BioShock 2, during the end of the 1970's. Gamers will play as old Splicers who are too decrepit to use plasmids, playing bingo while slutty 30-something girls will walk around in very tight pants and big curly hair.

In an effort to cut defense spending, the U.S. Air Force ceases its use of PlayStation 3 clusters. Instead, the USAF will revert to using PlayStation 2 consoles. “While not nearly as robust as the PlayStation 3, the PS2 fulfills the Air Force’s internal requirements to develop more advanced radar systems,” said Major B. Hess. “Plus, it’s got God of War.”

Blizzard brings back a blast from the past. It announces its previously-undisclosed MMO to be a Lost Vikings RPG. Aptly named “The Lost Vikings: Without Renorse,” it will be the first-ever side-scrolling MMORPG. The game will feature cameo appearances from Balin, Gimli and Brett Favre.

Natal releases to great fanfare. Microsoft says it’s their most successful product launch since Windows Vista. The software giant also says Natal will cure world hunger, child obesity and AIDS, in that order.

Female gamers become more prominent, demanding better gender representation in video games. As if we need girl Spartans in Halo.

Duke Nukem Forever is scheduled for a December 22, 2012 release date. Weeks later, researchers discover that the world will in fact end December 21, 2012.

Microsoft kicks off its subliminal marketing campaign for the next Halo using toothbrush commercials, “don’t just brush, Reach.”

Half-Life 2: Episode 3 is scheduled for release later this year, but based on our calculations, it won’t release until December 23, 2012.

Top US video game publisher Activision takes their biggest selling franchise, Call of Duty, to the children. As a sort of spinoff from the serious first-person shooters that have been unanimously rated T-M, the child-friendly series will be rated E+10. The franchise will take a significant turn to remain respectable for children, changing its name to "Call of Dooty."

Reports also indicate that, with the rise in mature, male gamers between the ages of 25 and 40 and the rising popularity of girls between 14 and 21, the Call of Duty series will approach those demographics as well, with "Call of Booty" and "Vampire Duty" respectively.

Gamers are outraged when they discover that Half-Life 2: Episode 3 will likely be delayed until never. In response to the outcry, Valve runs a three-week long Steam sale. All is good.

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu stops circulation when its readers discover that its reviews consist entirely of nonsensical markings accompanied by an arbitrary number out of 40.

Blizzard revisits StarCraft: Ghost. In it, the main character’s clothes are so tight, they’re painted on.

Battlefield 3 is revealed, will contain more rock-throwing and suicide bombing than the last two. It will also be the first Battlefield game to feature a full-fledged single player campaign, where players will take part in six-hour long patrols of abandoned Afghan villages, likely not encountering a single hostile for days on end.

Realizing it will soon be f*cked because of digital distribution, video game retailer GameStop begins including adult-entertainment DVD’s with purchases. The move backfires as the company realizes that’s all online too.

Predictions for Congress leader India

Just like his government, Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari is also in the eye of a storm. An expose allegedly showing Tiwari in a compromising position with girls at Raj Bhavan has raised a stink, with opposition parties demanding he be immediately sacked.

Women groups are now demanding Governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari's ouster from Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. This after a private Telugu channel aired photographs that allegedly showed Tiwari in a compromising position with several girls, who the channel claimed worked at Raj Bhavan.

View the article attached with this post.the article was published on 17th july 2009 in english daily "HINDUSTAN TIMES".in which i had given predictions regarding the impact of solar eclipse on political parties.

View the fifth paragraph of the article in which i had predicted that:-

"There are strong possibility of allegations of immorality being leveled against a prominent leader of Congress."

If any astrologer will see the fifth house of the congress party and will see the impact of july 22nd he can understand meanings and cause of this predictions.

Fashion Predictions for 2011

BB's Fashion Forecast for 2010
It's becoming a tradition here at The Budget Babe to look into the future at the start of the New Year, and try and predict which way the sartorial winds will blow. Last time this year, I accurately predicted that Rodarte would collaborate with Target (pats self on back), so let's see what the crystal ball holds for us this year. If only I could predict something a bit more useful, like the lottery…

BB's Purely Suppositional Fashion Predictions for 2011:
1. Prabal Gurung will team up with Target for Go International.
2. Diane Von Furstenberg will team up with Target Designer Collaborations.
3. Forever 21 will launch a clothing recycling program.
4. Boyfriend blazers (and cardigans and jeans) will get a break.
5. Mobile coupons will catch on as will other money-saving smartphone apps in a big, big way.
6. Matt & Nat will create a vegan line of accessories for Target (or Payless).
7. Celebrity fashion lines will continue to proliferate.
8. Plus-size models will finally gain more exposure.
9. Isaac will return to Target (wishful thinking.)
10. Sarah Jessica Parker will relaunch Bitten with JCPenney or Kohls.

Priyanka chopra - NEW YEAR PREDICTIONS

NEW YEAR PREDICTIONS
To predict on film actors is a very risky task because there are much more possibilities of incorrect birth details.but what the details i have of actress Priyanka Chopra seems correct as yet.her parents Ashok Chopra and Madhu Akhauri, both physicians by profession.her father is from defense.

A break in education in the antardasha of venus is also seen in her chart.but the same antardasha also provides her the crown of miss world.in 2003 she she appeared in Raj Kanwar's Andaaz opposite Akshay Kumar. The film turned out to be a box office success earning her a Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

This took place in the vinshottary antardasha of Moon.moon is the tenth lord and is exalted but in the eighth house of suddenness

Since april 2007 Priyanka chopra was in the antardasha of saturn which was not so good.but since first fortnight of january 2010 she is running under the antardasha of mercury.this time phase will be better for her career wise.and this time phase will last till april 2012.but this phase may be some what difficult for her parents.if we see the marital life then nothing new is seen.her marital life also seems not well but rather better than other actresses.

Tara Reid into the New Year

Tara Reid was one of the top makeovers of 2006 and she carried that title with her into the New Year. The actress was all smiles (and covered up nicely) at a party she hosted in Chicago this weekend. Now she needs to focus on 2007 being a career comeback year for her. Good luck Tara.

Predictions Of New Year’s

I did this last year, and looking back, I was right about a lot of things. The Dow finished a little higher than I thought, but the Yankees did win the World Series like I predicted (and the Red Wings made the finals.) And a lot of my other economic predictions came true in one form or another. Now, if I could only do the lottery numbers…

equipment lease prediction 2010 300x257 New Year’s Predictions

So here are some predictions for 2010:

  • Section 179 will stay around – there’s almost no chance it goes away, as to do so would send the wrong message to businesses in the face of a soft economy. In fact, the limits may increase as business expansion will be seen as a key issue in creating jobs (more on this below).

  • The economy won’t get much better, nor will it get much worse. But the recession is ending / has ended (depends who you ask), and we’ll settle into what is a “new” normal. As we get used to this “new normal”, upticks towards the end of the year will be seen as very welcome.
  • If nothing changes, equipment financing and equipment leasing will stay about the same as they did last year.

  • But something might change… There’s a good chance we may see some more government intervention into the economy, specifically geared towards job creation, which will probably be seen as our biggest issue. If that happens, equipment financing and equipment leasing may take on a new life.

  • I will go on a cruise in May. Yes, I see that happening (pretty easy prediction when I’m looking at the ticket receipt.)

  • The Yankees will repeat. I don’t say that because I am a fan, but because I feel that group of oldies has one more “dynasty run” in them. The Colts will win the Superbowl, the Devils the Stanley Cup, and the Orlando Magic the NBA title.

  • In the end, this will be an easier year for almost everyone than 2009 was, even if it’s only because 2009 hardened many of us.

New Year Outlook

With the start of 2010, here are a few general ideas about what the New Year may bring. For New Year predictions, I like to refer to the New Year's horoscope, that is, the position of the planets at the stroke of midnight on January 1. This is a simple, easy way to get a snapshot on some emerging themes for the year ahead. It will not provide any specifics, but it is a fairly efficient way to get a general overview on the coming twelve months. Some might object to the use of a chart that doesn't reflect any particular astronomical reality in a way that eclipse or conjunction charts might, but the New Year's chart does nevertheless provide interesting insights into the year ahead. For example, the New Year chart for 2008 (See bottom below) showed that trouble was brewing with the close opposition aspect between Mars and Pluto (conflict, power struggles) with Jupiter (wealth, wisdom) also in close proximity. While this combination did not explicitly say "financial crisis", the presence of Jupiter signifying wealth suggested that some disruption of the financial system was possible. Certainly, those planets inclined towards a fairly pessimistic outlook for 2008, especially when considered alongside Saturn in the 12th house of loss in aspect with the Sun. The Mars-Rahu aspect may have suggested a significant new development in leadership as we witnessed in Barack Obama's election given Mars' 10th house occupancy ( the house of government) and Rahu's penchant for breaks with the status quo. By contrast, the 2009 New Year (see middle below) chart seemed much more positive on the Mercury-Jupiter conjunction ("good news") and the happy conjunction of the Moon with Venus. This is pretty much what one would expect to see for a chart that suggested a year of economic recovery and hopefulness that was embodied in the first year of the Obama administration.

January 1, 2010 00.00 EST Washington, DC

This year's chart looks more negative, however, as Saturn, the planet of constraint and responsibility, rises in sidereal Virgo. While Saturn has a good side that suggests "doing what is necessary", it is in a close square aspect with Pluto, the planet of large organizations and social structures. This would tend to bring out its more troublesome side so that efforts to re-structure and transform the economy will be accompanied by significant measures of awkwardness and hardship. The close proximity of Venus to Pluto and the aspect of Saturn is not helpful and increases the chances for continued restrictions and limits in economic life. This combination of planets can symbolize asceticism and renunciation so there is a chance that the economy will actually worsen through the year as people will have to make do with less. The positive side to this pattern is that simpler pleasures and self-discipline will be more fully appreciated as consumer society undergoes significant renovation. The worst effects of this combination will likely be muted because Venus is closer to the Sun than it is to Pluto, a possible sign that a base level of social harmony will be maintained regardless of what happens.

January 1, 2009 00.00 EST Washington, DC

Another potential trouble spot is the close Mercury-Rahu conjunction that occurs in close minor aspect with retrograde Mars. Rahu's effect on Mercury can be energizing in terms of awakening the intellect to unusual and unconventional solutions and this could well be reflected in further technological advances. Predicting more breakthroughs in technology is not much of a prediction these days, but the problem here is that Mercury is retrograde so there may be something that goes awry here, as if the products of the human mind are not moving forward but are focused on questions that were previously considered resolved. Perhaps we will see more controversy on climate change, as the hitherto firm consensus is weakened by the fallout from the "Climategate" e-mails. That is but one possibility of course, as this Mercury-Rahu conjunction could manifest in any number of ways. The close Mars 6th house aspect is not a full strength aspect according to Vedic astrology, but it may still manifest. Mars is the planet of conflict so it's not unreasonable to expect some significant conflict to emerge regarding prevailing ideas or programs (Mercury). Climate change is one possible area of conflict, but so is the economy as the various government stimulus packages are due to be unwound as the economy recovers. Just how governments will guide the next phase of the economic recovery is something of an open question as they will have to walk a fine line between removing stimulus too quickly which could create another recession or maintaining the stimulus too long and sparking a round of inflation.

January 1, 2008 00.00 EST Washington, DC

The Moon is conjunct Ketu (South Lunar Node) in the 10th house of government in sidereal Gemini. This combination suggests that spiritual or unusual cerebral experiences will gain the limelight this year. The fact that this occurs in the 10th house may indicate that religious ideas will find increased resonance in governments around the world. More generally, political leaders will undergo sudden and unexpected changes as Ketu's influence on the Moon can make for suprises and fast-changing circumstances. The Ketu influence here means that leaders and governments are more likely to be different or even revolutionary in some way as there may be a sense that conditions demand unorthodox or radical approaches.

On a more positive note, Jupiter is conjunct Neptune in this chart and that points to the continued relevance of hope. Jupiter's expansion and Neptune's idealism make a potent pairing in the sky so no matter what happens in 2010, there will be continued reservoir of hope and optimism about the future. This influence should prevent some kind of worse case scenario from unfolding in the economy, although it may not be enough to forestall a "double dip" recession. Both Jupiter and Neptune are also associated with the higher realm of human experience, so there may be greater interest in metaphysical and religious matters. Given the supernatural aspects of the Moon-Ketu conjunction, it seems likely that religion and spirituality is likely to have a higher profile this year.

Overall, the best thing one can say about this chart is that it is "mixed", although I think that is being generous. 2010 looks like it will be more difficult than 2009 was in many respects, including perhaps the economy. At the same time, there are enough positive planetary influences there to spur humanity on through the darker periods as challenges will be met with equal portions of resourcefulness, ingenuity, inspired leadership and faith.

Addendum:

N.B. Given America's continuing dominance in the world -- for now, at least -- I locate the chart for Washington, DC, although one could recast the chart for one's home country for a more specific local reading. It should be noted, however, that the New Year's horoscope doesn't change much no matter it is located. Invariably it will have sidereal Virgo rising, such as in Sydney, Australia where the first degree of Virgo rises to Washington where 14th degree of Virgo rises. The Moon also changes its position a few degrees depending on where the chart is cast, although this variation is fairly small. The rest of the planets do not shift appreciably.

Byzantine New Year’s Day

During the Byzantine age the administrative year of the ancient Amalfi Seafaring Republic started on the 1st of September, this is the reason why this date is called and remembered as the Byzantine New Year’s Day.

From 1999 the Amalfi municipality organizes a historical reconstruction of the striking ordination of the Amalfi Duke who was the law keeper and arbiter. For this reason every year this qualification is given to a Law Master of our age: the judicial power was, in fact, the main symbol of the Amalfi republican aristocracy.

Many Medieval shows are arranged in Amalfi to celebrate this date including also a parade in costume made up by 60 participants. However the most important moment of this event will be the Duke ordination ceremony that will take place in such a striking place as Atrani and, more exactly, in the entrance hall of the Cappella Palatina di San Salvatore de Birecto . The ordination will be followed by the historical parade that will reach Amalfi.

The Duke ordination ceremony

The Byzantine New Year’s Day event represents one of the most important historical reconstructions in Campania and absolutely the most important one in the Costiera Amalfitana. This historical reenactment, in fact, recalls facts, happenings and problems typical of that period in which Amalfi dominated the Mediterranean Sea.

For the fourth year running, The London Eye will be the focus of London’s New Year’s Eve celebrations with a spectacular fireworks display that will firmly place the London celebrations on top of the world stage. On New Year’s Eve, the team at The London Eye offers the wheel and their services free of charge to the GLA to assist in giving London a spectacular New Year’s Eve experience. The London Eye will close at 3pm on New Year’s Eve to allow the fireworks to be set up, and will re-open on New Year’s Day at 10am as usual.

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has ordered the display to kick off the New Year in the capital with a bang. Live television coverage around the globe will ensure the iconic skyline of the West End is seen from Beijing to Brazil, New York and New Delhi as Big Ben strikes midnight.

Renowned pyrotechnician, Christophe Berthonneau, will light up the sky to remind the world of the unrivalled attractions of London as a place to live, visit and invest. The display from The London Eye, will be broadcast live on BBC One and is planned as the centrepiece of a vast array of activities to round off Christmas celebrations in the capital and ensure 2009 is greeted on an upbeat and optimistic note.

The Mayor said: ‘London has some of the best bars, restaurants and hotels in the world. I can think of no better city to spend New Year’s Eve and these fireworks will remind Britain and the world of the joys and charms of this city all year round. I’m particularly keen to remind the global business elite that London offers them unique opportunities and an inimitable lifestyle. Even these tough economic times cannot detract from the wealth of architecture, culture, gastronomy and people which make London the best city in the world to work, rest and play.’

Countless celebrations are planned across the capital, but many venues will require pre-booked tickets, whilst space is severely limited along the Thames to watch the fireworks live. Television offers the best solution for those worried about not getting into the viewing areas. For those able to able to get into the viewing areas, there will be specially mixed soundtrack from BBC Radio 1 as they wait for the fireworks at midnight.
LG Electronics are sponsoring this year’s fireworks display and will be using their technology expertise to significantly enhance the experience on the night and ensure that London’s New Year celebrations become a global talking point.

Andrew Warner, marketing director, LG Electronics UK and Ireland, said ‘This sponsorship coincides with the first ever LG global brand campaign which highlights why we believe that Life’s Good. New Year’s Eve is a moment of optimism – when people forget the troubles of last year and celebrate the next. London is a truly global, cosmopolitan city, providing the perfect location for this exciting spectacle.’
